Shredmistress Interview
in Guitar Player Magazine

Meet Rynata (aka The Shredmistress), a standout female guitarist in what has traditionally been an elite "boys club" - guitar shredders. Rynata has been called "the fastest female guitar player alive." But if you think this virtuoso is an egomaniac, you're wrong. Rynata shredded licks that some guys only wish they could pull off themselves ... I have heard a lot of female guitarists in the past, but I was blown away, along with the crowd."

Rock City News, Los Angeles, California

"What made it all happen for me was the spectacular solo shredding of Rynata. There are virtually no female lead guitar players who can take off with the kind of soaring melodic feel and riveting articulation that this lady has mastered (In fact, very few male guitar players have this either)."

Night Fever, and six other people, witnessed the unnatural force of nature known as Glamazon filling the kinda hallowed halls of Club Boomerang with their seven-minute, nine-part mini-operas. Singer Christine, surely the finest heavy metal vocalist in this or any other Bay Area, steps upon pedal after pedal, churning her already bellowing vox into some truly haunting Satan-type stuff. Those doubting the Shredmistress' claim to fastest female guitar player alive, need look no further than her flying fingers upon the fretboard.

Guitar wizard Shredmistress Rynata is your genial hostess at the Cat Club on Sunset Blvd. hosting the "Shredding Jam." More than one guy walked in off Sunset to play. One such was C.C. Deville of POISON, who gladly subordinated himself on bass to Rynata's guitar and they created shredding mayhem..truly awesome.

You know... guitar playing is the most amazing thing in my life. One of my favorite sayings is: " a few guitar licks a day... will keep the doctor away". So true.

Okay.. so are you all on myspace already? And youtube? Damn.. it's a real online frenzy out there. I just discovered YouTube. Found a few old surprises on there. Nothing I want to share with the world though. I'll keep that to myself (grin).
